Let's create a new Theme!

	Connect your device to your desktop via ActiveSync.
	Start Agenda One Theme Builder on your desktop PC.
	Select File > New. The Theme Builder will retrieve the current color settings from Agenda One on your device.

Changing Colors

Double click on any color in the color list to change it. This will bring up a color palette from which you can click and choose your color.

If the color belongs to a view that you currently have open in Agenda One on your device, selecting Apply will allow you to immediately see the change on your device. Make as many color changes as you like!

You may also right click on any color in the color list to copy and paste (or paste and update device) anywhere else in the color list.

Using Images

Changing the “Appointment Preview”, “Task Preview” images lets you tailor the look of the appointment and task viewers. The “No Items” image is visible when you are in an item list in Agenda One that contains no items. (i.e. a contact search that found no contacts would show the ‘no items’ background.

Theme images are optional. If you do not change them, the default images (or no images) will be used.

For the best results, when selecting background images, we recommend using a seamless tiled image. These types of images work well on various screen sizes. An example of this file type is the small bitmap files that are often located in the Windows Folder of your desktop PC.

Tip: Look on your Desktop PC under C:\Windows for small sized *.bmp files. These images are typically used for changing the background. You will also find many sites on the internet that provide free background tiled images that you can use in your themes.

Note: When adding images to a theme, the Theme Builder will not immediately display these images on your device. You will need to save your current theme to your device and activate it within Agenda One to see the results.

Saving and Using your new Theme

Complete both the Title and Author fields and select File > Save As > Theme on Device.

Once your theme has been transferred to your device, you will see it listed within the Agenda One Theme Chooser (Options > View All Options > Theme Chooser). Select your new theme and press the center/action button to activate your new theme to see your changes!

	More Info... Theme Builder also allows you to easily load an existing Agenda One theme from your device to edit or use as a template to create a new theme. Create and save number of different themes to your device and quickly switch between them at any time! Have Fun!
	Can I change the background images in the appointment and task viewers without creating a theme? You may select any image to be used in the preview screens from the Preview Settings screen in Agenda One options. (See Global Settings > Preview Settings)

Share your creations with others!

Submit your theme to Developer One and we'll post it on our web site to share with other Agenda One users.

From the Agenda One Theme Builder, Select File > Share your theme with others and follow a few simple steps to submit your theme to Developer One. This will create an email with instructions on the appropriate theme file and information to provide.

If you experience any problems in using the "Share your theme with others" feature, save your theme file and send it as an attachment in an email to .

What happens after I submit my theme?

After submitting your theme, we will make a theme installation package and post it on our site for all Agenda One users to download from either our web site or from within the Agenda One Theme Chooser.
